The STAR Global Conference is a three-day celebration of "Engineering Success", that brings together experts from around the world to explore the latest developments in engineering simulation technology and to discuss the ways in which it can be deployed to solve industrial problems, reducing costs and empowering innovation.

On Monday and Tuesday, the main conference agenda will feature presentations from over 50 leading industrial experts who will reveal the secrets of their success, exploring their engineering processes and demonstrating in detail the tangible benefits that they have realized through the application of engineering simulation. As well as meeting other industrial users and CAE partners, the STAR Global Conference 2013 is your chance to meet the people behind the software, including CD-adapco Management, Software Developers and Support Engineers.

Gene Kranz, the legendary NASA Flight Control Director who led the effort to save Apollo 13, is this year’s Keynote Speaker at CD-adapco’s STAR Global Conference. The New York Times bestselling author and highly decorated space hero will talk about his life and work in Mission Control, especially during the efforts made to safe the crew of Apollo 13.
