An Introduction to Comprehensive Multiphase Modeling Capabilities

Increasingly, simulating systems rather than isolated components may be more realistically represented by not only a single multiphase modeling approach, but the use of several complementary multiphase models working together.

Presenters demonstrate the wide variety of applications that can be solved using a multiphase toolset. Examples include, the build-up of ice on an aircraft wing, the demisting of a headlamp, the transport of rocks/aggregates, dropping a lifeboat into the sea or the spray painting of a car.

Additional modeling capabilities using a single integrated environment such as the mesh motion models and the possibilities for simulating real systems and applications will be discussed.

This webcast will use STAR-CCM+® to provide attendees with an introduction to multiphase modeling, the background and applicability of each method, as well as some practical examples that illustrate what can be achieved.
